You'll need a pair of roller skates and protective gear tailored to your preferences (we require knee pads, wrist guards, and helmets for beginners).  On the matter of roller skates, any pair will likely suffice; we're not particular about brands. Upgrading your wheels may enhance comfort and success. Note that this course is not suitable for rollerblades (inlines).

Grow class is for skaters who need to build confidence on skates and strengthen the basics.

Play class is for skaters who want to continue skill building with an element of fun!

Power class is for higher intensity workout with inspiration from roller derby, without any contact.

Each class will consist of a warm-up, 3-5 skills with a workout element, and a cool down. We will encourage a little fellowship with the class members with introductions, partnering up, and cheering each other on during class.

Off-skate homework may also be provided for practice between skating sessions.
